InviteDesk raises 700,000 euros for further international growth
Willebroek, December 14, 2021 – InviteDesk, which develops event marketing software, strengthens its financial position with 700,000 euros thanks to existing and Swedish investors. With InviteDesk, companies increase their return on investment (ROI) in event marketing by ensuring that the right guests attend their events. They use the platform for communication with their customers and to enable sales and marketing teams to collaborate more efficiently while providing them with real-time data.
InviteDesk was founded in 2018 by Mark Van der Kinderen, Jan Heiremans, and Matthias Goossens, who have extensive marketing and sales experience, including at StepStone, Adecco, and Unilever. They found that events are an essential marketing tool for many companies but that businesses often struggle to generate a clear return. “On one hand, we saw that companies often couldn’t fill their events, faced many no-shows (people who don’t show up), or didn’t have the right guests. On the other hand, the sales and marketing teams put a lot of effort into making the entire communication process run smoothly,” says Jan Heiremans, co-founder. “With InviteDesk, you ensure a more efficient process and a full venue with the right guests, so your event budget is optimized.”

The rise of digital events
“Due to the coronavirus crisis, there has been a shift toward digital events. We quickly adapted our platform so that webinars or hybrid events could also be organized via InviteDesk. Additionally, we developed our unique webinar technology that ensures business events offer more engagement and experience than traditional webinar tools. However, we see that as soon as it’s possible, companies are once again organizing in-person events. The future is clearly a mix of event types. Fortunately, our customers can manage all their events on one platform with us: online, in-person, and hybrid.”
