Built for and by sales and marketing professionals

Jan Heiremans, Mark Van der kinderen and Matthias Goossens founded InviteDesk in 2018. They’d seen it first-hand: events were eating up budget while the wrong people filled the seats. Last-minute calls. Second-choice guests. Sometimes, leftover tickets handed to friends and family. There had to be a better way.

In 2025, Philipp Katz and Norbert Sroke joined the leadership team when InviteDesk merged with LineUpr – the event app platform they’d spent nearly a decade building.

Jan Heiremans

CEO & Co-founder

Jan spent almost 17 years at Stepstone, holding roles as Sales and Marketing Director, General Manager for the Benelux region, and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that he spent eight years in sales and marketing at Bestfoods (Unilever). He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Brussels University.

We’ve made event marketing automation accessible for any company organising any type of event – from internal training sessions for 10 employees all the way up to large company events with over 1,000 customers. You can set up a complete campaign in just a few clicks.

Mark Van der kinderen

CRO & Co-founder

Mark spent over 16 years working for Stepstone, where he gained a wealth of experience as Marketing Manager, Head of Product Management, General Manager in Sweden, Business Development Director and Sales Director. He has a Master’s Degree in Applied Economic Sciences from Leuven University.

Events are a great way to strengthen relationships, and they work even better when sales and marketing can collaborate efficiently throughout the invitation process. It shouldn’t be a tiring, administrative, laborious job – which was all too often the case before we started InviteDesk.

Matthias Goossens

Matthias held several commercial roles at the Adecco Group in Latin America and France. Before that he was active in project management at Fujitsu Technology Solutions. Matthias has a Masters Degree in Commercial Engineering at Universiteit Antwerpen.

With InviteDesk we are proud we can help our customers to increase the value they get from their event investments. InviteDesk helps them to optimise their event spend, get the right relations to attend, avoid waste and increase business. On top of that our solutions integrates really easy with their CRM or marketing automation tools to fully integrate their data.

Meet LineUpr Co-founder, Norbert Sroke

Norbert studied Media & Computer Science and has been building web-based platforms for over a decade. Alongside being co-founder LineUpr, he is also the creator of QR Code Monkey, one of the world’s most widely used QR code generators with millions of users worldwide.

Meet InviteDesk CTO and LineUpr Co-Founder, Philipp Katz

Philipp holds a PhD in Computer Science, with a focus on data extraction, machine learning, and geospatial analysis. In 2016, he co-founded LineUpr with the goal of making event apps available, affordable, and accessible for every type of event, from small meetups to large conferences. Today, LineUpr is part of InviteDesk, where Philipp continues to shape the future of event communication and engagement via apps.

This certification demonstrates our commitment to securing customer data with robust information security management practices and the highest industry standards.

15/12/2025 InviteDesk and LineUpr join forces

InviteDesk merges with LineUpr, further expanding it product portofolio and transforming the company in to an Event Product Suite and expanding it's international footprint with an additional office in Germany.

31/05/2024 InviteDesk and Halito! join forces

This acquisition positions the group as the most significant player in the Benelux, while also strengthening its potential for international growth.

04/2018 InviteDesk founded

InviteDesk was founded in April 2018 by Jan Heiremans and Mark Van der kinderen. Soon thereafter, Matthias Goossens joined the team.
